Erdem GORGUN, completed B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies at Environmental Engineering Department, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and has around 30 years of experience in a wide variety of environment-related fields including engineering works, scientific researches, R & D, teaching and top-level management. Between 2000 and 2004, he worked as a researcher and manager at Environment & Energy Institute of The Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Marmara Research Center. After these assignments, he has come back to his task at the Environmental Engineering Department and also founded io Environmental Solutions R & D Ltd. Company at Technopark, ITU. Additionally, he has worked as an expert and director of many projects in this company that has been operating in the “environmental impacts of industries and energy investments”, “water resources and river basin management”, "wastewater management”, air quality management” and solid & hazardous waste management".
